The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Taipei is a must see if you are spending a few days in Taipei. It is located not far from Taipei Main Station and Zhongshan MRT Station. Map link here.
What makes MOCA so special the regularly changing exhibits so if you are one of the lucky people who live in Taipei you can visit every few months and have something new to look at.
When we visited MOCA we got to experience the extraordinary life of King Hu, a famous film director. We were able to take part in various hands on exhibitions and art works.
The majority of the exhibitions are free, some cost NT$50 per entry (USD$2.75). MOCA is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Closed on Mondays.
If you are staying long term in Taipei, you would be pleased to know that you can join up to do arts and crafts classes on weekdays, week nights and weekends.
