It's not cheap to send a parcel home from Laos. But if you really have to as of March 2012, the costs to send a postcard, a light parcel and a much heavier parcel are below. At the time 8000 kip = $1 US = $1 AUD.

The prices wouldn’t have changed that much in the last year. It would be cheaper to send stuff back to Canada from Thailand 🙂
